If you rinse/dig through it, you should be able to tell if its the baby or not. When I miscarried, I passed a similar thing and rinsed/dug through it and discovered the sac with my little angel inside. I was supposed to be 8 weeks but baby measured 6 weeks.

If you rinse it off, does it look like a baby? If not, it is just a clot. You will for sure know if it is a baby. How far along were you? My baby came out in a sac.
