I get this consistent thick white discharge with recurring yeast infections. It started in February 2020 after getting a copper iud. I had it removed two months in because of the pain as it nearly perforated my uterus.

I was getting severe yeast infections with itching for the first 11 months but now it just seems the itching and pain is gone and I’m still left with nasty clumps coming out of me with a dread that the itching may return.

The nurse at the gyno office keeps telling me I’m fine, that it’s just candida, and to keep taking diflucan every time it comes back. They won’t test me for strains of candida. I’ve asked multiple times but they said they don’t need to. That it shouldnt be a concern to know whether this is candida albicans/glabrata/tropicalis. I smell bullshit. Clearly the diflucan is not working! I think I need to switch doctors.

I’m just so SICK of this. It’s killing my confidence in bed. I never get eaten out anymore. I hate knowing that my partner is getting the clumps stuck on his penis..it’s just grossing me out, hitting a breaking point.
