Is this dry socket?

I’ve been doing everything the dentist has told me but I’m still in pain, I got my tooth pulled on Monday and my gums feel so swelled and sore. Could this be dry socket?

Sorry you are receiving such back lash. I had someone rip me a new one because I was trying to up lift a woman who broke apart her pregnancy test because she saw a faint line. Everyone went off on her about breaking the test open and I just don’t see the point in attacking people! She had been TTC for a while and she was so excited to see a faint line. I swear people love to post rude comments because they are miserable. In regards to your tooth, I had my bottom wisdom teeth out 5 years ago at age 23 and I left my cotton balls in too long. When I pulled them off they had dried and ripped my blood clots out. I had the WORST dry sockets ever! I cried for days and my mouth was so swollen. I had to be medicated with pain meds for a week and clove oil was my life saver! Finally after 8 days they healed but man I’ll never forget it. Are you in pain? The pain is awful.

You’ve posted about your wisdom teeth repeatedly since you had it done. Go see the dentist if you’re concerned. No one here can tell you whether you have dry socket or not. 
Do you smoke? Did you use a straw within the first couple days? Do you have food trapped in there? Food can cause pain, swelling and smell. Having surgery hurts. It takes time to heal. If you’re not healing properly make an appointment.

Honestly could be the bone from blood clot being gone. Can’t really tell. I’ve had one before and it looked similar. If it’s hella painful, tastes bad and the pain is going to your jaw and ear then yes it is. That’s what I had :/ shits painful but nothing you can’t take care of. I would definitely go to a dentist just to be sure. If left it could become an infection which isn’t very good! I got mine from vaping after wisdom teeth cause I couldn’t wait and I paid the price lol.

Hi, that's definitely a dry socket. Dont put your hand or your young in there as it will only make things worse.  Try rinsing with warm water and salt but you need to get that cleaned. Hope it helps
