so I’m planning on getting onto birth control the implant preferably but i heard you gain weight anyone that’s been or is on the Implant experience any weight gain?

I do not recommend the implant. That is the worst form of birth control. If forgetting to take a pill is something you’re worried about, try the mirena. I was on the implant for 9 years and it messed my body up so badly that I can’t conceive.

I’ve been on the pill form (yasmin) for about 6 months now, and I have to say in the beginning it made me breakout for the first two weeks, after the first month my skin was flawless. It still is! And as far as weight gain, I had none. Sometimes I forget to take the pill, so when I forget I just take the day I forgot with the day I’m supposed to take basically just doubling up. Doesn’t make any difference in anything I still have sex regularly almost more then 2 times a day and I have to say it never ever got me pregnant scared. Even if he came in me and I forgot the pill I just took it as soon as I noticed I forgot to take it. I have every intention to keep taking it and from what I’ve heard you can still have kids, I have a two year old now, and still plan to have kids, I was on this a long time ago, and still was able to conceive multiple times. My son died in 2016, and I had 2 miscarriages before him. Then I had my daughter. Now here we are! I highly recommend yasmin, I am taking the generic brand of it and it works just fine. I wouldn’t suggest an iud because it may fall out, which my gyno made me aware of this too.
