Today’s scan between 6-8 weeks. Thoughts? They are quick to want me to end pregnancy. I don’t have regular periods and have no idea when I ovulated.

DO NOT END IT! Early in, it’s easy to misdate the pregnancy because even 1mm discrepancy can make a world of difference as far as how far along you are! With my first, they told me the pregnancy was not viable and referred to it as a “blighted ovum.” They dated me at 6.5 weeks (I was actually only 5.5 weeks because I have PCOS). It was recommended that we terminate the pregnancy but I asked to do another ultrasound and re-check in 3 weeks time as all my internet searches revealed women who didn’t have a visible fetal pole or heartbeat (same as me) until clothed to 9-12 weeks. I figured my body would likely do things “at natural” in the meantime if it wasn’t meant to be. The day of my repeat ultrasound, I started bleeding and thought I was starting to miscarry. I prepared myself for the bad news, however, when we went into the room there she was! 8.5 weeks with a strong heartbeat and growing beautifully! She’s now a 3, almost 4 year old little spitfire who I love more than words could ever express! 🥰
Turns out I had a sub chorionic bleed but the pregnancy progressed without issue despite this... 😍

Ladies!!! Went back today to the local hospital vs my OB. They found a fetal pole. No heart beat yet but baby measuring 6w1d

I personally would go for another ultrasound in a week or so to see if it’s growing and if a heartbeat appears. I feel like it’s too early to end it with no concrete evidence it isn’t viable

Why would they want you to end it? Did they see a heartbeat? What did they say as far as how far along they think you are?
