Newborn favorites

Hi everyone! I hope this post isn’t too annoying, but my baby is a few days old and I just wanted to share some of my favorite items that I’ve been using daily, just in case some of you are still working on your registry. If you have any other suggestions then feel free to add them below in the comments section❤️

Here’s my list:

OxiClean free and clear stain soaker

Seventh generation free and clear dishwasher packs are nontoxic (“A” rating on EWG) so they’re great for washing all of your bottles, pacifiers, and breastpump parts in the dishwasher.

Bamboo changing pad liners- go ahead and register for 10 or more!

Newborn gowns (they don’t rub on the umbilical cord and they’re easier for diaper changes)

Oxo tot space saver drying rack, plus the oxo tot bottlebrush

Formula ready kettle

Glass Avent bottles- I love them because the glass is nontoxic, super easy to clean, prevent gas/colic, and they DON’T LEAK 🙌 Obviously some babies are picky, but my girl has had no issues going between these and my breasts, so I think it’s at least worth it to register for a couple to try out. Just make sure you also register for the size 0 “first flow” nipples.

Some other things I use are Pipette fragrance free baby shampoo/wash, Gerber prefold diapers as burp cloths, Blue Air 411 air purifier near the bassinet to keep air circulating to prevent SIDS and to remove any toxins from the air, Ecover laundry detergent, and Waterwipes.
