Clomid Follow Up Ultrasound Advice

I just finished my first round of Clomid (50mg) a couple days ago CD 5-9, currently CD 11. I've read from many that their doctor has them come in for an ultrasound to verify ovulation in the middle of the cycle. If my doctor isn't having me do this, should I be concerned and think about finding a new provider?

I had a pelvic ultrasound about 5 months ago to verify everything was good in there, but that was it. She gave me instructions for 4 rounds of Clomid, and to come back in when I was either pregnant or if the 4 cycles didn't work...

Also, when I got my pelvic ultrasound, I had to go to a 3rd party imaging center, since they couldn't do it at my OBGYN. Is this normal?
