So yesterday I went to my first ultrasound, or otherwise known as my dating scan. Everything seemed to be going good. Go in for the scan, he couldn't find a baby at all. No sac, no nothing.

Tried a transvaginal scan, still nothing.

He asked if I'd had blood test done and I said yeah, two weeks ago. My hcg then was about 6000.

Had I had any pain? No

Bleeding? No

So now the wait to see my doctor is on. I have an appointment next Friday and am on the waitlist should an appointment become available earlier.

Has anyone else had anything like this happen?

What came out of it?

I'm tempted to go and get a test and see if anything comes of that. But I know that maybe just a waste....
