CF Carrier

Hi Everyone!

I’m looking for some advice. My husband and I have been going through fertility treatment and we have just found out we are both Cystic Fibrosis carriers so there’s a 25% chance if we have a child, they will have CF.

Has anyone else experienced this? We are so confused as feel guilty that we could bring a child into the world knowing that they could have CF and struggle with life.

We have been referred for counselling but we don’t know anything else. I’ll be grateful for any advice or experiences.
