3 month old slept 8.5 hours straight?

My 3 month old just slept more than 8 hours straight. The night before, she literally kept waking up every few hours and then every hour tor the second half of the night. 
What could be going on?

She was probably just so exhausted from the night before so she caught up on her sleep.

My baby started sleeping through the night by 3 months. That's usually when they start getting into a routine and out of the feedings through the night. However every baby is different but they are getting older so eventually they just start sleeping through the night sometimes even up to 12 hours! Totally normal.

My almost 3 month old often sleeps 8 hours - if we’ve had a day of good feeds, if I haven’t eaten foods that make her gassy, and if she’s close to me that helps too

Babies are so unpredictable. If you’re breastfeeding I bet you were aching! As long as she’s safe then consider it a win 💕
