is 2 pages of instructions for a babysitter too much?

Mo

Im SAHM for the most part and work 2 days back to back a month. We have almost 2yr old twins. We hired a new sitter(we already met and screened) for in our home.

Im meal prepping all the meals for her. I also typed up a page(front and back) of instructions. I tried to avoid unnecessary details but went over what I felt was important such as nap time, meals, diaper changes, outside play, tv and wifi information, off limit areas in the house. I thought this might answer any questions she has. I also told her she can call/text if she still has questions, and said I know she wont dont everything exactly the way I do and its okay if she forgets or messes anything up.

I dont want her to feel like it’s overwhelming. But then I feel 2 pages is maybe excessive? I have never done this before with a stranger😬😂

Thank you all for the replies, I revamped my instructions to cover any babysitter for any situation(just for the day or over night). i have a created a short schedule and locations of everything(diapers, bug spray, first aid kit etc) along with phone numbers. I then have my detailed/more depth instructions for outside and rules for the kids around the house as well as bed time, bath time routines. Im currently pregnant so this will be helpful if we have to call the babysitter and rush to the hospital, every thing is there! Also include information on the pets as well.
