Frustration
Curious if anyone else is dealing with something similar.
Ember is 22 months old and still not saying more than “no”, “mama”, and “dada”. She’s still sticking everything in her mouth that she can get her hands on but mostly goes after ash trays to my never ending my frustration, even at the park. She has total meltdowns of shrieking and flopping at her own risk because she’s bounced her head off the floor before. Any sign of cleanliness in the house and she actually seeks it out to destroy it and doesn’t respond to timeouts or even a tap on the butt. Due to Covid we still have t seen the doctor even though I’ve expressed to them I’m concerned over her behavior now. On the flip side of this absolutely chaotic tantrum queen is the sweet mama-attached snuggle monsters who just learned how to give kisses a few days ago and freaks out if I leave the room for even a second. She can’t sleep unless I’m there and automatically attaches to me in unfamiliar situations. She also tries to take care of her little sister by giving her her binky or bottle and covering her with a blanket.
I feel like I am missing something with my toddler and I’m not being the best mom to her so any advice would be great, I want to make communication easier for her but idk what to do
