Allergy medicine?

My poor boy is really suffering from allergies. Anyone else? What medication works? They’re still so young, I’m not sure what I can give him and his dr office is closed tomorrow 😞

My daughter is 17 months. She’s been taking 2.5mL of Zyrtec when needed since about 7 months old. And if she has congestion or cough I give her Zarbees cough medicine. I also flush her nose out with saline spray usually every night

Zyrtec 2.5ml is what we give our daughter. I think it’s one of the few you can give this young. Talk to the doctor first. There are also nose sprays you could do, but that’s torture in my opinion!

We do Claritin that’s what the Peditrician said to do ! It helps !

Our pediatrician said Zyrtec is approved for as young as 6 months, but you would have to check on the dosage because the box doesn’t give it for under age 2. For my daughter it actually made her runny nose worse and it stopped running after I stopped giving it daily.
