I think I've played something similar but  Idk what you're talking about exactly. I've played a game called sardines where one person hides and everyone else tries to find that person. When someone finds the hidden person they hide with them. The last one to find everyone is it for the next round. We played in the evening with all the lights out in large buildings that not everyone is familiar with and when you're one of the last people looking it can be really scary
