Is Cortic hydrocortisone cream bad for baby’s face?

My son has eczema on his cheeks but I’ve been told hydrocortisone being a steroid cream is not a permanent solution and strips the surface of his skin off. However this was prescribed by the doctor as normal moisturiser (QV) made his skin more inflamed.

My daughter had eczema really bad as a baby, a friend recommended this to me along with Dr. Bronner’s Castile soap. I found the natural route is the best thing for babies and small children if possible. Also I had to change her bathing schedule and stop bathing her night and day to every other day or so because the water and J&J soap would dry her skin out. Hope this helps you and your little one.
