Have you ever miscarriaged?

Sorry but I’m very paranoic about miscarriage on the 1st trimester. I know the probabilities after 7/8weeks are arround 5% but I see so many cases os miscarriages on this community..

It is a very common thing, I had one in January. You have to remember also some people are more likely to post/comment when something is negative rather than when positive things are happening. So try not to let all the bad posts outweigh the good ones. If you need to, take a break during your first trimester looking at the community portion of apps I’m honestly thinking of doing that this time so I don’t read something and overthink my symptoms.

It’s true lots of women especially if they have many children have had / gonna have a miscarriage in first trimester. It’s the all or nothing stage because every organ develops during this early weeks and if there is a genetic defect it’s basically just nature to not continue the pregnancy. I don’t mean to sound harsh I had a missed miscarriage and it’s horrible but knowing that the body is just doing what it’s supposed to do is important. My doctors told me that about 20-25% of all pregnancy’s end in early miscarriage and mostly if it’s really close to your period date it’s not even noticed because many are not actively ttc. But hey 75% to not have a miscarriage is a lot! I wish you all the best!
