tips on how to smoke in room without the smelling the place up?

I live with my mom in a townhouse with a little screened in patio out back. I smoke out there a few times a day. For the past couple weeks, i have been dealing with spiders, and just a bit ago, a long, fat worm was moving across the ground. I’m so freaked out lmao. How can I smoke inside my room without smelling our townhouse up? My mom had given me permission to smoke in my room but the only times i have, i stunk up the whole place. So i just don’t do it out of respect for my mom. Please help😫😫😫
