Membrane sweep success stories??

Question

Anyone get a membrane sweep and it work? I’m scheduled for one on Friday. Did you do anything that day to help the membrane sweep work? Like sex walking tea etc..? 
Any advice appreciated 😋 
...and yes I know the baby will come when he’s ready.

I had 2 with my first baby, the first one obviously didn’t do much, the second I was already a few days past due and my water broke 36 hours after. HOWEVER I feel pretty strongly that my water would not have broken without the sweeps and laboring with broken waters is much harder than laboring with intact waters. They provide cushion to the contractions. I declined all cervix checks and sweeps with my second, my waters stayed intact and I had a much more comfortable labor and delivery with my water being intact until 9cm. I would not choose to have a sweep done again unless I was facing having to be induced.

I had one with my 1st child and 4 hours after that appointment my water broke. I was 39 weeks

I had with my first and my water broke in 24 hours, prob less. It def got things moving for me

I had one with my 3rd pregnancy and didn't make it to the front door of my house I had to call for an ambulance and had my baby an hr later

I did it twice two week weeks in a row. The third time i went in i was 5 cm dilated already. I dont know if the sweeps helped with that or not but i mean it doesnt hurt so no harm in trying
