Anyone know how to do acrylic nails??

Hi ladies I’ve never been a girly girl and I never get my nails done/go to hair salons/etc but I’ve really been wanting to learn how to do acrylic nails. 
I know there are beginner kits on Amazon but I was just wondering what you guys like to use? I just don’t know what brands are good or cheap and what not 😂

Honestly acrylic is so bad for your nails and hard to get off! A lot of nail salons don’t even offer it anymore. I recommend getting a kit to do a gel manicure! There’s also these kits like color street that are peel on polish and it’s so easy and you don’t have to buy all the kits and stuff. That one is like a pyramid scheme haha but there’s other companies that have the same thing!

I’m not sure where the person lives that already commented but acrylic is offered every where here in Florida & yes it is bad for your nails & honestly not something I would start out unless your doing straight nail polish on your nails! You’d need a gel UV light for that, gel nail polish ( I like OPI & GELISH ) & the foundation kit/ clear coat..GELISH offers a 4 pack with all that you need for that part but I’m sure other brands do that also, nail surface cleanser that usually helps when your completely done & added your clear coat. You’ll also need something to buff your nails, and to shape them before putting polish on! But even nail salons will tell you that dip nails are actually better for your nails which I know there is kits for that you can buy also which is all powder no polish! You can watch videos on YouTube how to do both but for a beginner I wouldn’t try putting fake nails on! Good luck! 👏🏼
