Is it ok to go to gynecologist appointment on period ??

Have you or would you go to your gynecologist appointment for an annual checkup on your period??? 
I have an appointment next week and it’s around the time I will probably be on my period. And I don’t know if it’s gross for them to do my check up while I’m bleeding ? 
Every time I have gone there, I wasn’t on my period.

For an annual they usually have you reschedule because it can throw off your pap. If you were bleeding and having issues pertaining to that that's different.

U need to call them & ask. Some doctors offices don’t care if ur on ur period, and others prefer u reschedule.

Well sometimes you gotta . I was on my period for 3 months , it was kinda unavoidable. And my drs office doesn’t care normally , they just lay down and extra sheet incase . But like others say you can call and ask to make sure you don’t waste your time lol

I have been in that dilemma before and was told it was okay as long as your flow is not heavy that day. If it is I would reschedule. Pap test results would not be accurate

I've only gone once on my period but only because I started like just a few hrs prior. But I think it kind of makes it worse for the cramping
