Did anyone ever have a dog with a yeast infection?

The only treatment the vet ever gave her is an antifungal shampoo. It’s been over a year now of shampooing her and it hasn’t ever gone away. We have to wash her every two days or so, making her stand in the bath with it on for 10minutes while she cries, and scratches me. It’s hell. Also, throughout the day she doesn’t stop itching/crying. She has hair loss, pink skin with bumps, a yeasty odour, and rough greasy fur.

My vet says it’s working shampooing her because her skin is not as red raw as at the start but it’s a year on and it hasn’t cleared up at all. Is there a cure? He also only diagnosed her by looking at her.

We get charged a lot per visit, it been over a year of going every few weeks. It’s costing a fortune for a skin issue, that has never been fixed, cleared up or relieved!!! I want my dog to be normal again. To be free to be herself again and not consumed by this.
