Does depo stop your periods?

I’m 2 weeks PP and I’m just wondering if I should expect a period or not. Got the shot before I ever left L&D

It can stop ur periods, or it can cause irregular periods and/or spotting. It just depends on how ur individual body reacts to it.

I had my second baby in January, I started the shot in April. I’ve been on the shot for over a month now, it made my normal period a week late, but now I’ve been bleeding for 2 weeks consistently. It started out as just some spotting, but after three days it started full force and hasn’t let up since. 
It could be different for you, though. It’s has different side effects on different people.

Please be careful on depo, I had crippling depression which led to suicidal thoughts. It really messed me up, doctors refused to acknowledge that it was a side effect and told me to continue. I was advised to come off it and see if improved and within a couple of weeks I was a completely different person. It know it’s going to be different for everyone but please be aware this is a side effect and get your friends or family to keep an eye on you for emotional changes. Sending much love
