Toddler UTI or infection?

Question

My 3 year old daughter says every once in a while “my booty is hot cause I went pee”. I’m waiting on a call back from her doctor. No other symptoms..she finished antibiotics a few weeks ago for an ear infection. 
Has anybody else’s toddler said anything similar?

Never heard of that. Ask her to point where the “hotness” is and see if it’s pee dripping to her butt at core temp or if it’s her other parts.

She might have a yeast infection, which can burn when pee hits the inflamed lips and the fluids can drip to your butt and cause burning there also. Antibiotics causing yeast infections are not exclusive to pubescent women, even a babies vagina has a flora that can be disturbed by antibiotics. That being said examine her discharge and ask her more questions, then consult with the pediatrician, I don’t know how they’d treat a yeast infection in a baby.
