I’d say it depends. If you left them & they slept with someone else, I’d say it was just a rebound. A way they thought they’d get over you. Idk lol. If they left you & slept with someone else right after, I’d think they left you for that reason. It hurts yes, but it’s also not your place anymore who they sleep with. It has nothing to do with you at that point.

Depends. When I was dumped by someone I loved I kind went on a ho spree. I just wanted to not think about him for a little bit. Try to get him out of my system. I found out he was sleeping around too and he was probably doing it for different reasons. It just depends, some people use meaningless sex for coping

I loved my ex a lot, but I broke up with him and met my current boyfriend literally the day after. I did really love my ex, but it was over and then I was lucky enough to quickly meet the person I was meant to be with. Sometimes there’s nothing wrong with it.

I don’t think they did at the end, that’s for sure, if they did the beginning I can’t tell you that, because I never saw what your relationship was like, but they were basically already over you if they moved on, perhaps they were cheating on you already, or the relationship was nothing but toxic and erratic and they were already done with the drama and done with the whole situation before they officially broke it off with you. I saw this posted the other day and it made me think a lot, and I think there’s definitely some truth to it, as someone who’s been used and abused by so many, it does make sense to me. I think every situation is different, I knew a man who was married for 40 years, his wife passed away, and within six months he was engaged to someone else, he had a hard time being alone, obviously needed someone to take care of the house, and my mother always said that had she died instead of my father dying when I was young, he would’ve grab the first Woman who walked by to come and help him take care of the house and the kids. Loneliness, desperation, horniness, etc. whatever the reason, a lot of people have attachments and codependency and don’t wanna be alone. I personally didn’t want to be alone and tolerate a lot of bullshit with my ex, he was sleeping with half our town by my back, but I tolerated so much bullshit because I didn’t want to be alone he knew that. Are use that to his advantage to get away with murder. I can’t honestly tell you if you ever loved you or not, But if he can move on that quickly, he was probably already done emotionally or physically ahead of time which was easy for him to he already was done.￼￼
