Condoms in a relationship?

Is it weird if I decided to use condoms with my boyfriend, we just started going out an having sex, but do most couples jus go no condom since that is your SO? 🤔 I know everyone’s different, jus wanna hear how everyone else thinks I guess

It’s very smart to use protection in a relationship especially a new one where neither has been tested and theres no other Bc being used
If you wanted to not use them get another form of Bc and get yourselves both checked

I do not use condoms with my partner because we are both STI negative and I’m on birth control. If either of you has not been tested, you’re not on bc, or either of you feel uncomfortable having “raw” sex, then use condoms. There’s nothing wrong with that.

No its not weird. I use condoms. Firstly, Anyone can say they’re clear from STDs but unless u have proof of it how can you really be sure? Secondly you only just started this relationship, a pregnancy/baby would add a load of stress when you don’t know each other that well

No it’s not weird. My husband and I never had unprotected sexual until we wanted to have a baby. I was on birth control, and we used condoms for the first 5 years of our relationship. After our first, I never got back on birth control but we continued to use condoms to prevent pregnancy until we were trying for our second. It wasn’t until like 10 + years that we once in a while “took a chance” lol and now I’m 38 weeks and expecting our third.

I think to be safe, both partners should get tested for STIs first (unless of course you’re both each other’s first sexual partner). Then everyone should do what they’re comfortable with and have discussed 😊

You should use condoms with anyone until you are in a long term commitment and trying to get pregnant. So no I wouldn't find it weird & if he does it's time to let go of that relationship.
