so my boyfriend and I are 19/18 and in college, we’re home for the summer & both working and busy so most if not all of our time is after work hours spent at his house with his family. I’ve asked him to go a few places with me that just ends up with his parents asking us to bring his brother or him inviting a friend to tag along which would be fine if we had ANY alone time, when i bring it up he feels like i’m just telling him he’s doing everything wrong. how can I get this across nicer?

also, we’ve been together for 3 years so this isn’t an ongoing issue, it’s happened a few times here and there being long term but usually we do things alone together. since the pandemic is basically nonexistent where we live now, i’m eager to start doing things together again but he doesn’t seem to care much. I just need a less angry way to tell him and actually get it done, i’m literally desperate for more alone time together. 😩
