What age is the zoo and aquariums fun for kids?

I know before 1 year old they probably don’t find it very amusing because they don’t understand what’s going on. But I don’t know what age they would be when you can start doing fun things outside of the house.

I took my first for the first time at 10 months and she absolutely adored it.  My son went for the first time at 14 months and ignored everything.  Totally depends on the kiddo!

If I had an aquarium near by I would be there in a heart beat, my daughter loves to watch the birds out our window she would be obsessed with watching fish swim. She's been like that since probably around 9 months.
