Natural child birth question

Friends of my husband and myself are having their 2nd baby and the husband told my husband that we should bring a ton of movies to watch because there’s a lot of down time. My friend had an epidural with her first baby and is doing the same with her 2nd. I, on the other hand, want to deliver without pain medication. Am I correct in assuming that I will not want to be watching movies while in labor, as I will be working on natural pain management? Or am I wrong and will be in the mood and patience to watch movies?
