If I’m fully vaccinated do I need to wear my mask?

CDC says if I’m fully vaccinated I can attend small and large gatherings without my mask, don’t have to social distance, and I can get back to my normal life. 
But even if I am fully vaccinated I can’t still spread the virus and not know I have it. Although “lessening the severity” I’m still contagious either way? 
Tbh I’ve been living my normal life since the mask mandate was lifted in my town, I still social distance but I don’t wear my mask when I go into the gas station or Walmart.

You literally said you don’t wear your mask anyways, so why would your opinion change now that the CDC says if you’re vaccinated you don’t need one? You were already not wearing one....you said do yourself! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Even fully vaccinated people can still become sick and spread the virus, although it is significantly less likely. 
In a group of people that are fully vaccinated and no one is immune compromised, no masks are needed. 
In a large group with people with unknown status, masks are still the best protection. 
It’s about common sense choices at this point, and I feel like this post is intentionally shit stirring.

Just some things I found to add to the conversation. I'm sorry but I'm about to complain about such a trivial thing. Before the vaccine came out everyone just said to wait till it comes out. Now it's here and a lot of people have it plus it's so readily available, I was in Walmart the other day and they had a sign that said to ask about getting the Covid vaccine, no appointment required. So now that we are at this point I'm still hearing from others about masks and how it's selfish not to wear one even if you're vaccinated. Apparently now CDC guidelines don't matter. I don't mind wearing a mask, I comply with businesses and 99% of the time I wear a mask unless I'm outside and there's hardly anyone or no one around. I'm just tired of seeing the judgement. I don't judge those who don't wear a mask, if I'm uncomfortable then I just stay incredibly far away from them.

The mask mandate in your area has lifted and even the cdc now says you don’t need one and you haven’t been wearing one in public anyways. This virus isn’t going away. Do what you want as you already seem to do anyways.

I know someone that has both vaccines and she has covid and her 1 year old son also has covid. It doesn’t stop you from getting it and giving it to other people, I think it works the same as a flu shot.
