Does anybody be else have crazy in laws??? This is our first pregnancy and they have been making it so difficult for EVERYONE. They’re constantly crossing boundaries and I am 6 months pregnant and NOTHING has been accomplished because of them. We are planning to move in with my parents because we can turn my parents garage into a room that will fit me, my fiancé, and our son. My father in law used to renovate houses so he was all for helping us build the room. We told them about that plan when we first found out I was pregnant in January. ITS NOW MAY. And he’s throwing a tantrum about not wanting to make the room anymore because my dad didn’t say hi to him. 4 MONTHS AGO!!! He’s refusing to talk to my dad. He tried brainwashing my fiancé about my family and is constantly talking shit about them. My fiancé and I fought for maybe a month because of all the crap his dad was telling him. My family has been doing EVERYTHING to help us. My mother in law keeps nagging me about stupid things. We told them that i am going to breastfeed and she was like,” no you need to pump. You need to use formula because I didn’t breastfeed” but I said no. We decided I am going to breastfeed. She goes behind our back and gets baby formula. She’s always hounding me about getting a breast pump. She keeps saying for us to use my room to live in with the baby but we’ve told her 100 times that we are not going to fit. My room is very small. The crib will barely fit. But she won’t let it go! They just keep coming up with excuses not to help us. Then, she said she wants to buy the car seat because she found one that she can buy an extra attachment for her car. She literally said,” then I can put one in my car for when I come to pick him up” that made my blood boil! I do NOT want him to go over to their house by himself EVER. they have been making this whole pregnancy a nightmare! I do not like them at all. They are constantly frustrating my fiancé too.
