Starting Clomid on day 8

I’m on my second round of clomid and got my prescription from my doctor on day 8. Anyone else start clomid that late and had success? Long story short, my doctor wasn’t getting back to me and on day 7 she finally sent me my prescription to pick up. I also told her I was going out of town so I needed to pick up my prescription ASAP. I’m starting it on day 8 again.
