Could I be pregnant? My boyfriend and I engaged in dry humping. He had no underwear on, but I had my panties on. He said he had no precum because his penis was dry but man idk how guys work. And yes I am a sad child who need to know.

You can not get pregnant from dry humping. Precum on your panties do not pose any risks to you. To get pregnant, you need direct penis in vagina contact. Sperm, while they do swim, aren’t these super speed torpedos and they need the help of direct contact within your vagina and cervix to do their job best. They don’t have a super gps sensor that will help guide them if they’re outside your vagina. So unless you’re having penetrative sex, you won’t get pregnant.

Precum can contain live sperm either from a previous ejaculation or some men have shown to leak live sperm into their precum. The best way to prevent pregnancy is through birth control. When you do choose to become fully sexually active, please use a form of contraceptive and don’t rely on the pull out method. There are several kinds and you’ll just have to see which one would work best for you. It could the pill, IUD, shot, condoms and also make sure to start getting annual STD checks to ensure you haven’t contacted anything.

So if you are choosing to engage in this behavior you need to be responsible about it. Being responsible means knowing what your doing and the risks so you can set appropriate boundaries. You clearly can’t/don’t do that so you honestly shouldn’t be intimate yet. When you consent to intimacy you consent to the consequences- and you don’t even know them. Stop intimacy before you do something dumb without knowing it. It’s everyone’s individual responsibility to be educated and recognize their knowledge shortcomings.
