Asking to clear up a debate between mil and us.

So we are due in Aug with a baby girl. We choose the name Sersha. It is a family name on my side (native name as my culture is important) but we now live off the reservation and my mil (white non native) is trying to convince us nobody will know how to begin to pronounce it as we should make it a middle name. The name stays regardless as we both love it but wanna see if she is right and people outside my very small tribe will be all sorts of lost. So how would you ladies say this name??? Thanks!
