ER bloodwork?

Does anyone know if the Emergency Room can give you instant HCG results from a blood test while you are there? I am having spotting and cramps and have had miscarriages in the past so I want to see if my hcg levels are up but want same day results

I hate to be a bear.  But this truly isn’t what the ER is for.  Have your doctor call in a blood draw and go to a lab.

Go to a min clinic. Er is for emergencies.  And while you're cramping, this is normal in pregnancy.  If you have an actual blood flow, then yes if tge ER is your only option, go.

Do you have a previous hgc test? Because without a comparison, doing one hcg test basically does nothing. Yes they can give you results, but what matters is if your levels are going up or going down, not what your levels are today. So yes you can get blood work results, but I personally wouldn't go to the ER for blood work. There's nothing they can do for you if you are miscarrying, they'll just tell you to follow up with your dr and come back only if you're showing signs of hemmoraging. I'm so sorry you're going through this!
