Nap time

My baby has recently really started not wanting snuggles at nap time. She hits and wiggles away. But, when I put her in her crib she cries and cries. I’ve just started laying on the floor next to the crib and her in the crib and typically it takes 40-50 minutes for her to fall asleep. Sometimes she cries and sometimes she puts herself to sleep without fussing. Has anyone done this? Will it get better? I am 5 days in and today was crying for both naps...it’s awful and I feel so bad. I’m just not going to be able to bounce her to sleep forever and when she goes to daycare she going to need to know how to put herself to sleep. Send help please! 😢
