It seems like we always hear about cults like religions and it’s hardly ever easy to completely understand how the smartest of people get duped into these things. It’s like they know exactly who and how to prey on people.

But there’s a buzzfeed article where people who have left their cults share their breaking points.

I wanted to know do you think social services should intervene on these things to save children from cult religions? Should hospitals be able to intervene if a medical procedure that is needed to save the life of a person is denied by the parents/spouse etc due to religion?
