From scooting to walking?

Hey! So my baby will be 15 months still and isn’t walking on her own. We had a virtual visit yesterday to see if she need to see a physical therapist and they stated she rated great in all the areas, except development and she rated around 6 months........ which they even said is skewed due to it being virtual. Anyways, they suggested a physical therapist in person. My baby started to scoot around 9 months and just has little interest in walking. She pulls up, she cruises along furniture, all of the things, but when she lets go, she will then just scoot. I’m just curious when the scooting babies out there started to walk ❤️

My son is baby number 6. He is 14 months old and has only just started to pull himself to stand.
Eldest (now 25yo) walked at 17mths
Second (now 23yo) walked at 13mths
Third (now 17yo) walked at 2 years (disabled)
Fourth (now 15yo) walked at 19mths
Fifth (now 15yo) walked at 14mths.

My daughter didn't pull to stand at home until after a year. She didn't wall until 15.5 months. Why walk when you have slaves to carry you?

My son was 15 months when he started walking. What helped him to finally get going was his activity walker! Once he got the hang of that he was walking just days after

Our son pulled to standing at 8mo but didn’t didn’t walk until 14mo. He just wasn’t interested. He crawled like a mad man and was crazy fast at it. Then it just sort of started to click for him.

One of my good friends said he didn't start walking till 18 months and he's very athletic now as an adult. I wouldn't worry too much

Every kid is different but scooting and/or skipping crawling is actually not ideal for development. 
I’d do the in person PT so they can get a good look at what is going on. She may only need a little extra support. You never know. 
My son has low muscle tone and didn’t start walking till 18 months. He belly crawled from 9-15 months and started near crawling around 15 months. 
My son started physical therapy at 8 weeks and was done at just over 2.5 years old. Nothing wrong with needing a professional to give you extra tools.

Mine took her first steps at 15 months but didn’t really walk until 16 months. Now at 20 months she doesn’t stop running. I wouldn’t worry too much.

My son walked before his first birthday, but it was really random. He had almost zero interest in it and one day, he just stood up and walked. We were shocked. He wasn’t really cruising with furniture. Only occasionally standing. 
I think your daughter is very close. She’s just gaining confidence!

Sorry for bothering you if I ask it’s because also I have a daughter which she’s now 1 year and 6 months but until now she’s not walking and I do make with her therapy but I’m still worried and anxious because I don’t know when she will start to walk ? How she will develop if is scooting I believe this is the name of how she’s crawling. 😞
