Post Partum Bleeding

I had my baby May 13th and have been progressively bleeding more and more and losing lots of blood clots. I finally went to my Obgyn on Tuesday and had swabs done, where I was told I have an infection in my uterus and sent to have an ultrasound Wednesday. About 5 minutes after my ultrasound my obgyn called me back to the hospital ASAP, where I was told part of my placenta had been left behind. I was prescribed misoprostol to help my uterus contract and get it out on its own. I took it last night, and had 0 cramps/contractions. Anyone else had this before?!
