For background I’m a teacher of young children. I was working at a school where it was very toxic and the owner accused me of something I didn’t do. I ended up eventually leaving and she didn’t pursue the false claim any further. I’ve left them off my resume because it was under a year but before I left they made me sign a paper saying I was resigning from my position. I since worked at an old school.

I’ve been offered a really great job with great benefits and I want to take it but I’m worried that this false accusation will somehow come up at this next job. It didn’t at my previous job which was closer to that school than this one is.

What do I do?
