Induction via water breaking only?

Anyone ever gave their water broken and not need pitocin or other interventions? 
I’m already 4 cm, was 70% effaced last week, and the last few days had bloody show/mucus plug constantly, but no labor so far. Hoping to go naturally, but just curious if anyone ended up needing induction, if just having their water broken was enough to help them get labor started!

I went in last Friday and got Prostin gel to soften my cervix. After one dose I was 4cms and the head had come down. So they left me and said if labor didn’t start on its own they’d break my water in the morning. Broke my water at 9:30 am Saturday and contractions started within 30 minutes. By 1.5 hours I was in a lot of pain, asked for an epidural but they were in surgery for 2-3 hours. Like 30-45 mins later I couldn’t take the pain and got the gas. She was born 3hours and 45 minutes after they broke my water

With my last baby I was 3cm and mostly effaced. They could not break my water because baby’s head was not totally engaged. Breaking it before baby’s head was down risked the umbilical cord coming out first. So I did one dose of prostaglandin and two hours later they re checked. I was 4cm and babies head was engaged. They broke my water and baby was born 4 hours later. I’m getting induced again tomorrow and hoping for a similar experience!

I’m measuring almost exactly the same as you! 4cm/80% effaced. My OB said if I don’t go before my induction date (a week from today), then plan is to break my water only and she thinks that’s all I’ll need to get labor going. This is my third. Hoping I go before then, though!

I only needed my waters broken last week. 
I was 3-4cm dilated and cervix was 1cm in length but soft and stretchy. 
Got called in at 11pm on 18th. 
Waters broken 1am on 19th. 
10cms by 6pm on 19th (hormone drip started as contractions slowed down)  and Noah was born at 749pm with alittle help from forceps. :)

i went in to have my baby at 5 almost 6 centimeters, they broke my water and i dilated on my own. they did however give me pitocin at 10cm for 15 minutes because it’s helps uterus contract after birth minimizing the risk of a hemorrhage.
