Backing into “Indie”?! {plz read}

Ok so I love the nickname Indie for a girl. I was a total daddy’s girl growing up and we spent HOURS watching the Indiana Jones series and playing adventure-pretend games in the backyard with hats and “whips”. But I also just think it’s adorable and goes pretty well with our other kid names.

But I can’t think of anything that seems like a great “given name” to shorten to Indie...

I don’t like Indiana. 😒

India would seem like an odd choice since I’ve never been to the country and have no ties to it

Indigo is a maybe but it’s a little hippie dippie for us.

Are there any longer form names that could reasonably be shortened to Indie?
