It doesn’t hurt to get assessed and see if intervention is needed.  What are you considering words though?  Any word that caregiver and child both understand is considered a “word” at this age even if it isn’t clear to others.

I’d go in. My babe is almost 22m, and can say over 200 words now. She’s definitely ahead, and every baby has their own timeline. 10 words is a little concerning. Do you guys read and talk a lot?? Any screen time?
