Polyp?

Went for Day 9 stim
check and they saw a small polyp. retrieval is a go for thursday but she may need to do a freeze alll and remove polyp before doing a frozen transfer.. anyone had this before?

Yes I had a polyp removed! At my clinic they mostly only do FETs and prior to the transfer they do a saline sonogram, which is where they saw the polyp. I had the polyp removed ~1 week later in a relatively simple procedure with quick recovery (quicker than retrieval). As soon as my period came, we planned for our transfer! 
I was on the fence but other women here encouraged me that it’s worth ensuring you have the best environment for the embryo to grow! 
Still waiting to transfer though as my lining isn’t as thick as my doc wants, but that’s a different story!

I had polyps removed in April. My clinic checks everyone before transfer. Was one of the easy surgery I had. No pain and just light spotting after.

No, but I’ve heard about them, and depending on it’s size and location may impede implantation. You want to have the best possible environment for your embryo to nuzzle in, so removal or polypectomy may be beneficial. I’d also want a skilled surgeon, so as not to cause too much trauma and possible scarring which would also affect your linings ability to proliferate and receive an embryo. It seems like a minor procedure though. You could probably transfer in the next cycle or so, only putting you back a bit, provided they’re able to do the procedure forthwith. I’m sorry that this came up, and I hope that it’s an easy fix with only minor setbacks. Good luck 🍀 
PS were pretty close I’m on stim day 8, and will go in tomorrow morning to see when my retrieval will be, but most likely a day behind you. 🥳
