Why are some men like this

I was content just eating a sandwich for lunch, but my boyfriend wanted something more and we settled on knores pasta with some chicken cut up and put in it.

I told him to cut the chicken and I will cook it and make the pasta

IT HAS BEEN TWO FUDGING HOURS

He was on his game for a while, but got off so I thought good he's going to cut the chicken for me now (I will cut any other raw meat, I just hate cutting chicken), but haha nope. He starts watching YouTube on his phone. A bit later he got off his phone and now he's on his game again, but this time on his mic with a friend.

I'm so done right now. I just going to make myself something to eat because if he can't do one simple task for me that takes only minutes, than he can make food himself or just not eat if he's going to be like that.
