How long did you’ll wait to buy Maternity clothes?

I’m thinking about getting some maternity jeans because my pants are UNCOMFORTABLE. And I am not even 6 weeks 🤣 but I can’t stand tight pants and I’m seriously bloated a lot of the time.

With my first, I was able to wait until about 16-18 weeks. I’m on my third pregnancy and I’m going to have to switch sooner for sure. My regular jeans are already uncomfortable because of my bloat.

With my first I was plus size, so I could never wear maternity pants, not enough support on  the lower stomach. I got tops online around 20 weeks. I was a clinic nurse at the time, so I got long black tops and a couple scrub vests to wear over, as couldn't find any scrub maternity tops big enough. I also got some maternity dresses around 30 weeks. For pants I just had to buy normal pants in a few sizes bigger. Around 25+ weeks. Home and casual wear wore a lot of leggings.
No idea how it's gonna work this time. I've lost 150lbs (wls). But still can't wear maternity pants due to lack of support for lower stomach. But my friend gave me some maternity tops/dresses. I'll start with those and go from there. Don't need scrubs this time thankfully, so will probably wear lots of dresses to work with leggings or tights.

I already have mat clothes from my last pregnancy and I just pulled them out. I can only wear regular pants or shorts if they have an elastic band. I probably won’t need maternity tops for a few more months but definitely can’t wear my xs stuff right now. I already wore mat jeans to work lol

I waited until my stuff stopped fitting. I really like my clothes more, however I do remember having an issue with anything that felt snug on my belly with my last two pregnancies. So pregnancy pants became a life saver. 
I also don’t really show much early on (tall girl).
