Baby carriers

Question

So i’m traveling soon and I quickly bought a 3+ baby carrier, my baby is 2 months old. Will it be okay to use it? Can y’all post some pictures of how it should look like holding the baby?

Depending on the carrier you got, you should be able to YouTube tutorials, tips and ticks videos, proper adjustments etc. just type in your carrier name and you’ll find plenty! We have several carriers and i always YouTube them when we get them or when baby sizes up to make sure I’m maximizing comfort and safety for me and baby!

For most carriers you can roll up a swaddle blanket or two and put it inside of the carrier to help your baby fit a bit better. The main thing is that you want your baby’s head to be up where you would normally hold her, and her legs should be in a natural froggy position.

Some carriers like the ergo need this insert if they are under the age where they can use the carrier without it. It really does matter and can be dangerous if you use things like this without following the directions. If you have an ergo you can get this insert for $10 from target, Walmart etc.

Honestly I never went by age, i always use products by weight or height. The carrier I had was to be used around 3 months as well, but I had a newborn the size of a 3 month old, and he already could hold his head up, so he fit perfectly into the carrier. 
I also used a wrap, I found it all easier for walking and getting things done because I could keep his head snug inside the wrap.
