Tattoo cost?

I’m looking to get my first tattoo and I’m so excited!! Can anyone with experience tell me how much something like this size will cost. Also how bad is the pain in this area? 
I think I have a high pain tolerance but that’s only because I gave birth with no drugs 😂

Mine was $300 but that was 10 years ago. Like someone else said it really only hurt in two spots right over the spine.

Depends on the artist. Any good and reputable artists I've ever been to cost $150+/hour. You may be looking at 2 to 3 hours. Depending on shading, color, size, etc. You need to find a good artist and get a quote. I have one there and it was one of 4 I got in one sitting *it was a LONG day....8 or 9 hours of tattooing* so I couldn't quote the price of just that one since I paid about $900 in total for all tattoos.

I have a tattoo there and almost fell asleep during it. But it also depends on how heavy handed the artist is and what type of tattoo gun they use.

My tattoo didn’t hurt but it definitely stung during shading. Mine covers my back and was $600. So I can see it being $300 or lower depending on which artist you go to.

Tattoo artists cost vary sooooo much artist to artist, IDK if i could really give you a good estimate. 
I do have a similar sized tattoo in that exact same place and it didn’t really hurt at all, just kind of stung when he was right over my spine. Out of all of my tattoos I’d say that is the second least painful one i have☺️
If it’s any help, my tattoo in that area was $200 6 years ago, but he was a well known travelling artist so I’m sure that upped the cost.
