Nope. Having a baby isn't just about you or the guy, it's about the actual child too. They need to grow up knowing who their father was/ wasn't.

No, I don’t know that person. You don’t know how they are, who they are, how they are with/around children, things they may carry, etc. It’s a terrible and honestly dangerous idea to have a child with someone you just met.

Is this backwards way of asking if you'd keep the baby of a one night stand? 
Or is it genuinely asking if I would voluntarily try to get pregnant with a stranger? 
Slightly confused. So my answer would depend on the pre situation. 
I don't think anyone would intentionally get pregnant with a stranger, unless you wanted to have the baby alone and didn't want to run any background checks for a donor.  It's not something I would choose, and i would want to know how the guy felt in this senario.

And...because...uh... I don't want to have stranger danger's baby? 
It took me 7.5 years to be comfortable enough with my husband to start TTC. 
To each their own, I suppose...

No. You don't know whether you are compatible. Even if you decide not to continue a romantic relationship with that person you need to at least know you align more or less on the major issues else raising a child and Co parenting is going to become one nightmare and drama after another.
