Anyone else?

I have had constipation since finding out I was pregnant. Today I am 7weeks and today have the opposite. I now have diarrhea. Has this happened to anyone else?

I had major constipation at the very beginning 3-4 weeks. It's eased off now, but not gone the opposite way. It makes sense though, it's just you body reacting to a hormone surge, the adjusting, and reacting. Trying to keep up with changing hormones. Pregnancy hormones definitely have that effect on eh GI tract!

Yes, I had constipation throughout my entire first pregnancy; hopefully this won’t be the case for you but this is definitely common. Next time you go to your appointment inform your midwife/doctor and they’ll give you something for it To loosen your bowels & help you use the bathroom
