Did you have gender disappointment

Just found out I’m having a boy again, I was really hoping for a girl. Yes I’m disappointed but I’ll just be happy as long as he’s healthy

With my first child I wanted a girl, but he was a boy. I was so upset! I lost him at 34 and at that point I didn’t care what his gender was I wanted my baby back. Since then I’ve had 2 a girl then a boy. Didn’t care either way with both. This go round I don’t care but hoping for a healthy live baby

My first was a girl but she passed away as a baby then I had 2 boys. This is my last pregnancy and i want a girl so badly and as much as im just hoping for a healthy baby, I know I will be upset if its another boy.  I still have all my daughters unused clothing waiting in storage boxes for that little girl I might not get. The plan is to give it all to charity if this one is a boy but it'll still be tough.

I have 5 kids I had 3 boys first I was okay with that then came out pregnant with 4th luckily for me it was a girl then 8 years later had my 5th took the genetic test wanted a girl so bad but got my 4th boy. I cried and was really disappointed I think you are entitled to feel what you feel it doesn't mean you love the baby any less just means you felt a certain way about the gender now I'm pregnant with baby #6 with a girl super happy  but if it was a boy I probably would of cried and got over it later.

Did you have different symptoms this time around?

I had a small melt down when we left our appointment at a special little ultrasound boutique to find out the gender of our ‘19 little fella. I just KNEW we were having a girl, I had done the bad thing and bought a few things way early so had to get rid of those. But it didn’t take long to get over it. Now I don’t even remember how long it took for me to get past it. Thankfully we had decided to know before our reveal party to tell all the family and friends. Every now and then I feel a little bad that I had reacted so badly, but wouldn’t trade him for anything in the world. Now, I’m just moving thru the shock of a surprise baby. I have no attachment, anticipation, wondering if this is a boy or girl lolol So…you will be ok! Sometimes it just takes a minute

I haven’t found out yet. We wanted a boy with our first and got a boy and we want a girl this time. We won’t find out for another 8 weeks.

I have 3 boys, I love jd care for all 3 but when I found out my 3rd was a boy I cried I walked away from my gender reveal because I was so upset I cried for weeks . Did that mean I loved the baby any less, no it didn’t . I was just happy to get over myself and be grateful I had a happy and healthy baby boy growing . When he was born it was the first time I ever cried at birth he was something special just like the 2 before . I am currently pregnant and my gender reveal is set for Sunday . The results were in today but I cannot look at them. Please pray for me as I will be disappointed again if it is a boy but doesn’t mean I won’t love baby the same

Yes and it sucks how I’m feeling right now. We already have a girl and she means the world to us without question. My husband and I however, knew we likely would only want 2 children so we were really hoping for a baby boy this time around. Our gender reveal just occurred yesterday in front of our family and friends and yup, you guessed it it was another girl. I smiled and even did what looked like a happy cry in front of everyone. But shortly after the reveal my true tears of disappointment came in. That coupled with my husbands visible disappointment during the reveal weighed on me. I will keep it in prayer and have confidence that my disappointment will pass. I am hoping it’s gone by my next doctors appointment when I get to see her again and if not, I’m sure my feelings will change once she’s in my arms.

Yes mama I have 6boys pregnant with my 7th boy. Although I wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world I would have loved a girl.
